Role of mineral nutrition of apple fruits in commercial orchards

During the harvest period of 1992-1995 leaf, fruit and soil samples were collected in 14 apple orchards located in the southern part of Finland. The work consisted of evaluating the phosphorus, zinc, copper, iron and manganese nutrition in commercial apple orchards. In the experimental material there were 14 cultivars. There were analysed the consentration of phosphorus in leaves, fruits and soil and the zinc, copper, iron ans manganese consentation in apple leaf during the growth period
