Owing to the purposeful selection almost all the cows (86,0-90,0%) on the breeding farm "Krasnaya Zvezda" have got typical traits of dairy cattle. It was found a positive correlation between milk yield and withers height(P 0,05), chest depth (P 0,01) and body length in cows of Starbook-Kleitus and Revanche-Nagan lines. This reveals better development of body traits which relate to milkability
