2001
Pacak, M. (BD Tech, Prague (Czech Republic))
This article deals with the most frequent pig diseases caused or negatively influenced by bad climate conditions in piggeries. The most important factors influencing the microclimate in stables are listed. A relation between the occurrence of health disorders (respiratory diseases and canibalism) and inappropriate climatic conditions, especially high ammomium and carbon dioxide concentrations, high flow rate and low temperatures, has been established.
