[Mycotoxins in feedstuffs, 2. Analytical and diagnostic problems, monitoring and control]
2001
Paulova, J. (Noack CR, Prague (Czech Republic))
This study focused on the occurrence of mycotoxins in some feedstuffs in the Czech Republic. Deoxynivalenol (DON) and zearalenone (ZON) concentrations were determined in samples of wheat and barley from 1996 and 1998 harvests. Mycotoxins (200 microg/kg) were present in 54 % of samples from 1996 harvest, the average concentration having been 605 microg/kg. The contamination in 1998 was much lower than in 1996, indicating thus a significant influence of weather conditions on mycotoxins occurrence.
