Fattening performance, carcass composition and economical evaluation of 3 hybrid combinations of the pig breeds Large White (LW), Landrace (L), Czech Large White (CLW), Belgian Landrace (BL), Hampshire (H), Pietrain (PN) and Duroc (D) were assessed and compared as follows: (LWxL)x(CLWxBL), (LWxL)x(HxPN), (LWxL)x(PNxD). The weight gains as well as maximum weight gains were variable and depended on the genotype and live weight. Feed conversion efficiency was also variable, in all 3 combinations it increased with increasing live weight and was more than 3 kg per kg of weight gain in pigs /= 70 kg of body weight. The best lean meat content up to 120 kg of live weight was observed in (LWxL)x(CLWxBL) animals (55 % and more). The values of the studied economic parameters were very variable, the best combination was (LWxL)x(PNxD), the worst one (LWxL)x(HxPN).
