The experiment was carried out in 1997-2000 at the Oru-Nolvaku farm, in Viljandimaa district, with three strawberry cultivars: 'Jonsok', 'Bounty' and 'Senga Sengana'. The productivity of plants and forming runner plants declined when first generation nursery plants were taken from the third-plantation. The other variants didn't essentaly. Two years is optimum duration of the mother plantation. However the best quality plants will be get from the first-year-plantation
