A long 66 years of research works in the Georgian Research Institute for Horticulture, Viniculture and Wine Making at the Georgian Academy of Agricultural Sciences have lead to the selection of high productivity clons of standare races of RkatsiteliN48, Mtsvane N12, Khikhvi N430 which increasethe crop productivity by 25-30%. Also there are new vine race which are better adapted to Georgian ecological conditions. The new grape varieties are selected which give the opportunity of providing high-quality inoculation practice of grape clones.
