The efficiency of standard and slow-acting potassium and complex NPK fertilizers for different agricultural crops was studied in long-term field and lysimeter experiments on sod-podzolic sandy soils of Belarus. The new types of fertilizers showed their advantage over standard fertilizers. Application of the new forms of fertilizers resulted in the increase of crop yields and allowed to reduce the losses of nutrients leached from light-textured soil.
