Idle milking of cows using different milking machines

In the research the time of idle milking of cows depending on the number and kind of milking machines is determined. It has been stated that idle milking occurs mainly in the front quarters of the udder as there is more milk and they can be milked faster. Idle milking intensifies also having a larger number of serviced milking machines. Milking with automatic removal of clusters or changing of the working regime one used (duovak type) idle milking is practically eliminated.
