PPO onderzocht vijf nieuwe onkruidbestrijdingsmiddelen in spinazie. Het ging om bodemherbiciden die voor opkomst gespoten moeten worden en om middelen die bruikbaar zijn kort na opkomst. De werking tegen breedbladigen en grassen en de opbrengsten, bij toepassing in normale en in dubbele dosering, in vergelijking met Asulox (het enige nu toegelaten middel)
