The study on Economic Analysis of Chillies Production in Sangi Area, can well be concluded on the findings that chillies growing is profitable enterprise to produce chillies on remunerative scale. Average cultivated area 1.58 hectares, Average physical productivity 88.11 (40 kg) maund, Average total revenue productivity Rs. 171998.15, Average total expenditure Rs. 62287.36, Per hectare average returns Rs. 106881.79, Per hectare average expenditure Rs. 39102.48, Per hectare average net returns Rs. 67779.31, Input-output ratio 1:2.73, Cost-benefit-ratio 1:1.73. The above results indicate that chillies crop was efficient enough to produce higher net returns and input-output and cost- benefit-ratio, Average Sangi area during 1997-98.
