An experiment on the screening of various pea genotypes viz Rondo, Novana, Dasan, Kohat local, Climax, Hungry Red Peas, Meteor and Green Feast was conducted in Peshawar conditions. Data were recorded on percent germination, plant growth, disease infestation, green pods yield and yield related components. Maximum germination (83.9%) was recorded in cultivar Novana while minimum (31.88%) was noted in Hungry Red Peas. Maximum days (69.00) to 50% flowering and days to first picking (122.5) were observed in cultivar Green Feast and Dasan, while minimum days (36.25) to 50% flowering and first picking (70) were observed in cultivar Meteor. Maximum plant height at flowering stage (54.25 and 52.00 cm) was observed in Green Feast and Dasan, while minimum plant height (24.75 cm) was recorded in cultivar Meteor. Maximum number of branches (11.25) per plant at flowering stage and minimum (6.75) was found in Green Feast and Meteor accordingly. Cultivar Dasan produced the maximum number of fresh pods (25.75) per plant as compared to the lowest (9.25) of Hungry Red Peas. Powdery mildew infestation was found maximum on cultivar climax (90%); while minimum on cultivar Meteor (0.1%). Cultivar Kohat local produced maximum fresh pod yield (5.265 t/ha) as compared to the lowest yield (0.792 t/ha) of cultivar Hungry Red Peas.
