Point bars development and sediment structure in the Skawica Creek in Polish Carpathians

The paper present a research on a 1.1 km long stream reach of the Skawica Creek connected with sediment structures and development of point bars within a stream channel. The Skawica is a flashy, mountain creek with alluvial bed, transporting sediment during frequent floods. 2 channel bars are a subject of the research: a point bar developed on the right stream bend and an upstream of the obstruction bar developed upstream of a megacluster, which in that case is a shale boulder
