The paper presents some results of agriculture of Zachodniopomorskie voivodeship in comparison to the Poland and the European Union. It emphasized the differences of development and abilities, thereby it pointed to the necessary and quick changes. The structural unemployment is enormous and more and more, transformation is indispensable and lack the financial capital, mobility of rural population is a little and qualifications are the same. The backwardness agriculture of Zachodniopomorskie voivodeship is not isolated, the similar problems have the rest of the country. There are some chances, what should be a source of development
