The paper presents an estimation of morphological and biological features of three Czech Festulolium varieties. Three doses of nitrogen fertilization were applied. The tested Festulolium varieties were described as the early - Perun i Becva and as medium early Lofa. That meant the varieteis should be cut in differeent time. Perun variety was characterized by higher proportion of leaf blades and vegetative tillers in dry matter yield than Becva and Lofa cultivars. Using different doses of nitrogen fertilization did not influence the development rate of generative tillers but the number of those tillers increased at N 150 and N 210 treatments. The studies showed that Czech varieties of Festulolium are suitable for forage production on alternative grassland in Poland because of high daily dry matter rises
