Eco-friendly methods of soil tillage under potatoes

The aim of the paper is comparison of potato yielding after the use conventional, conserving and summer and autumn ridge methods of tillage, in soil-climatic condition typical for East Poland and Northern Switzeland. Using the tillage with forming ridges in autumn ensured the highest total and commercial yield of tubers. Morever, modifications in methods of soil tillage did not differentiate total N content. On the country, autumn ridge tillage limited leaching nitrogen to deep layers of the soil profile
