Changes in iron forms concentration as the result of the mucking process in different dehydration conditions

The work presents changes of the total and various forms of iron content caused by the mucking process occurring under conditions of differentiated water supply types. In the percolating water supply type, the total amount of iron is more than 20 times lower comparing with the conditions of the rising-percolating type, and iron forms mostly complexes with humus compounds. In soils with the flood-rising type of water supply, silted mucks contain relatively high amounts of bound iron
