The experiment carried out in 1990-00 was aimed to study the effect of different forms of nitrogen fertilization of meadow on yielding level and the content of total protein and crude fibre in hay. The results obtained showed that increased doses of nitrogen fertilization applied in foliar form caused decrease of meadow yielding. But quality of fodder, estimated by the content of total protein and crude fibre, was better on the plots fertilized in a foliar form
