Influence of first cut time on yielding and fodder values of Festulolium braunii (Richt.) Camus

The aim of the study was to evaluate yielding and fodder value two varieties of Festulolium (Felopa and Sulino) as depending on the time of first cut harvest. The pot experiment was based on two factors: first - Festulolium varieties, and second - different time of the first cut harvest. The first harvest was taking place at full tillering and next followed in seven-day intervals. Every delay of the time of first cut harvest caused significant increase of yielding, decrease of total protein, K and Ca content
