The measurements of density, viscosity and electrical conductivity of the water solution of potato syrup (1:2) with NaCl were carried out. It was stated that liquid density (p) depended on the temperature (t) and content of NaCl (s) according to the formula p = 1287.04 - 0.53t + 5.82s, (kg/cubic m), whereas viscosity (n) may be expressed by the formula n.10E3 = 81.88 - 2.32t + 0.24x6 square s (Pa.s). A diagram of changes in mixture conductivity as the function of temperature and the content of NaCl points to nonlinearity of changes with 3.5 percent content of NaCl. It was found that due to its properties the water solution of potato syrup can be a useful liquid for modeling the flow of viscous Newtonian liquids
