Influence of fertilizers Kemira Beta 14, Kamex Gran and magnesium sulphate on health of plants, productivity and processing quality of sugar beet

Multicomponent fertilizers influenced favourably the health of leaves. Kemira Beta 14 limited the leaf infestation by Erysiphe betae and Cerospora beticola, Kamex Gran by C. beticola and bitter salt by E. betae. Kemira Beta 14 and Kamex gran increased emergence, plant population, root and recoverable sugar yields, but decreased sugar content in roots. Folliage dressing of sugar beet with 5 percent bitter salt solution caused sifnificantly higher plant density at harvest, root mass and recoverable sugar yield and higher sugar content in roots
