Magnesium content in daily food rations (DFR) of soldiers doing military service in the Polish Army in the years 1988-98 was estimated. Total of 5 Military Units (MU) were tested. Total of 168 DFR were analysed. It was found that in the examined period, magnesium content analysed food rations met the nutritional requirements for this group in full
