Influence of broadcast and row fertilization by Polifoska 12 and Polimag 305 on the yield and some qualitative properties of potato tubers

Significant higher yield of tubers was obtained when row fertilization of polifoska 12 (mean 6.9 percent) and Polimag 305 (mean 10.7 percent) were applied as compared to the broadcast fertilization. The method of fertilization did not cause a significant differentiation of starch, phosphorus and magnesium content in tubers and did not influence the after cooking blackening of potato. The row fertilization with Polifoska 12 caused a significant increase of dry matter content, nitrogen and potassium in tubers. The potassium content in tubers increased as the influence of row fertilization with Polimag 305 compared to the spread fertilization
