First results about testing on M. [Mycoplasma] gallisepticum and M. [Mycoplasma] synoviae population of sparrows, near the houses of poultry

The aim of this paper is to present the first results about testing on Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae population of sparrows, near the houses of poultry, in Yugoslavia. The results indicate that about half of population of sparrows is positive on one of the mycoplasmas. It is clear that content between free living birds and poultry in the houses must be prevent.
