The ultralight aircrafts in economic role

The ultralight aircrafts ULL in two version, like a motorized ultralight airplane ULA, and like a motorized hang glider, entered on to their third decades of their existences. In this period, beside their first application for sport flying, they have find their places in various branches the economy in commercial roles. In the Western European countries, in France and Great Britain, ultralight aircrafts designed for agricultural roles, appeared since 1981 year. They successfully supplemented the aerial farming fleet, and at the small parceles as far as 50 ha, have entered into competition. Many small companies have become famous for the construction, development, and with the production of ultralight aircrafts. Other companies and private persons are engaged with the running, equipment and with the distribution. In the past, in our country, it was not turned remarkable attention to the production and to the introduction of the ultralight aircrafts to put in application. In relatively small number of motorized hang gliders, which were imported from abroad, belong to the first generation, and are placed in theaeroclubs. They are used only for sports and leisure, and operated under very poor technical and economi conditions. At the beginning of this year, the motorized hang gliders has been used by us, at the first time, with in the scope of project for the liquidation the fox rabies, with the air distribution the antirabic vaccines in the area near 2000 square km at the Nort Backa region (Serbia, Serbia&Montenegro). This paper present the most important characteristic advanced ultralight aircrafts and there application possibilities among particularly circumstances at the different sectors of economy.
