This paper discusses 5 variants of technological solutions and pig-fattening cubicles. All variants were dimensioned for 10 pigs to be fattened with area and feeding front per animal both consistent with the respective technological solution. The analysis is based on comparison of variants in terms of material consumption and capital investment per 1 sq. m of floor area and per 1 animal place. Data show that the ordinary floor cubicle "Danish Type" is the most cost-effective. The cubicles with grate floor have highest costs per 1 sq. m of floor area and per one animal place. At the same time, some operational parameters are provided for the respective variants such as easy service, cubicle hygiene, etc.
