Influence of Bromosept 50 on the microflora of brewing barley

The action of Bromosept 50 on the microflora of brewing barley was investigated. Two different concentration - 0,05 and 0,1% were used. It was established that Bromosept 50 effect in the different degree on the microflora of barley. The action of the Bromosept 50 depend on the concentration of the product, as well as, the degree of contamination of the barley. No effecton the germination ability of barley. Based on the results obtained and the characteristics of the product, Bromosept 50 can be used for washing and dezinfecting of brewing barley during the malt process.
