Content of cadmium (Cd) in the organism of fresh-water fishes from Piasachnik dam-lake

The object of the study are the fresh-water species of fish - Perca fluviatilis and Scardinius erythrophthalmus. Analyses were made of kidneys, liver, digestive system and muscles. In the organs and tissue of Perca fluviatilis were determined a higher level of cadmium concentration than Scardinius erythrophthalmus. The coefficient of bioacumulation determined the studied species of fish "macroconcentrators" of cadmium.
