Sexual activity and semen prroduction of boars of Danube White breed at batch system of farrowing

The study was carried out with boars of breed Danube White. It was obtained 381 ejaculates, divided into 3 serial groups throughout different period of time - every day, every second day and throughout 2, 3, 5, 10 and 20 days. The results reported, that sexual regime did not influence on the boar's libido, but significantly influenced on the semen volume (P0.01), and the concentration of spermatozoa (P0.001). The different intensity of sexual regime up to three serial ejaculates did not reflect on the suitability of sperm for artificial insemination.
