[Development of larvae of glyptotendipes barbipes staeger by experimental feeding with beer yeast by-products in the begginning stage of metamirphosis

Results of laboratory cultivation of glyptotendipes barbipes by their feeding with beer yeast by-product have been shown. The conducted experiment showed that the examined feed has a positive influence on survival and development of chironomidae at the early stages of metamorphosis. The higjest survival and growth rates have been noticed by feeding at the rate of 1 mg for 1 larva during the time of growing. Possibility of usage of beer yeast by-products as stimulators of development of chironomidae larvae has been considered
