Presence of eggs, larvae and adults of Cacopsylla pruni was observed weekly visually and by means of limb jarring wild blackthorn bushes and cultivated apricot trees. Psyllae were present between March and July on their principal host, various species of Prunus. The new generation left these hosts rapidly. The experiences of French researchers with C. pruni confirm these observations.
