Condition and possible ways of development of crop production in Vojvodina [Serbia, Serbia&Montenegro]

In this paper production is analyzed, trend of corn yields, wheat and sugar beet in Vojvodina in the last 40 years of 20th century (1961-2000). This period characterise great success in crop rpdoction, especially in high developed countries. The yields in this period are increasingly high then in whole period of crop production. Yield of these crops in Vojvodina ere middle of 80th years on the level of the best Europen producers. After that yields were gradually decreased abd great undeveloping to the countries of western Europe. In this paper we are analized the samples that had influence. We were determined our condition and seeing to the possible development ways of crop production in Vojvodina. Conditions of crop development are not variable, and its characterized in lower yields, their negative trend in great differences and great differences to the most Western countries. This conditions could be overloaded with adequate application of technology production that is based on science base. Production and yields of crops, with application of technology in next five years could be at the adge of eighty. More importance in sowing structure is possible achieved by investing in meliorative systems. Future crop production in Vojvodina could be to the attitude of sustainable or integral crop production. Organic crop production could organise on adequate areas, for recognisable purchase and adequate price.
