Hydraulic power lift represents a part of the hydraulic lifting system that performs forced or automatic regulation of tractor generating set during various agricultural and engineering operations. In the development of tractors in "Industrija motora Rakovica", Belgrade - Rakovica (Serbia&Montenegro) up to now, particular attention has paid to this system, with a view to permanent improvement of its characteristics. Besides the introductory considerations and the basic review of hydraulic power lift performances, this work deals the method of measurement of the lifting force depending upon pressure and time of response.
