A man causes changes with its activities in the nature that have unforeseeable consequences for the environment. Intensive environmental polluters are zinc, copper and lead mines, like "Grot" mine placed in southeastern hillside of Besna Kobila mountain. Heavy metal presence as environmental pollution indicators in tested samples of zinc, lead, manganese, copper, and iron barren soil shows that obsolete technologies make harmful contribution to intensive environmental pollution.
