Poultry production is playing important role in the agro-based industries. Success of poultry business depends on the high production and low mortality. As the mortality is one of the major hindrance in the development of enterprenuership in poultry business, it was decided to undertake present study to know the rate and reasons for mortality in chicken for guidance to take remedial measures in its prevention and control.
