The dry matter accumulation, LAI, LAD, CGR, RGR and NAR were recorded significantly higher at 20 tonnes ha-1 FYM over 0 and 10 tonnes ha-1 FYM at all the stages expect dry matter accumulation at 45 DAS in both the years. Number of effective tillers, number of grains spike-1 and grain yield enhanced significantly with the graded levels of FYM upto 20 tonnes ha-1. Application of recommended dose of NPZn fertilizer significantly improved the dry matter accumulation, LAI, LAD and CGR at all the stages, expect dry matter accumulation at 45 DAS; effective tillers, number of grains spike-1 and grain yield at harvest over nitrogen levels. The RGR and NAR also improved significantly with recommended dose of NPZn compared with 120 kg N ha-1 during both years.
