Efficacy of some pesticides against citrus rust mite, Phyllocoptruta oleivora

Results of a field trial conducted on the efficacy of different pesticides in controlling citras rust mite, Phyllocoptruta oleivora (Ashm.) revealed that man-cozeb (0.5%) was the best chemical against the mite. The other chemicals in their descending order of efficacy are monocrotophos,diofol,phosalone,wettable sulphur,mitac,triazophos and profenophos.The least effective are the botanicals viz. azadiractin (0.5%) and Anona Seed extract (0.5%).
