Sero-reactivity of Brucella Abortus anti-idiotype antigen with Brucella agglutinin

The present observation on anti-idiotype antibodies raised in rabbits against Brucella abortus bovine (Fab)2 were just preliminary. The anti-idotype (Fab)2 rabbit globulins were able to combine with Brucella abortus antibodies in micro-plate ELISA and absorbed ELISA test. Reduction in EIU/ml in absorbed sera in contrast to unadsorbed sera was suggestive of similarity in rabbit (Fab)2 paratope with Brucella abortus epitope.
