Awareness of medicinal value of spices and condiments among the housewives of Punjab

The present study was conducted on 25 housewives selected at random from Raghumajra area in Patiala to know the medicinal value of spices and condiments. The results revealed that education was a major socio-personal variable among all the variables. This factor could change the eating habits in our society. It was further found that poor income group families consumed more spices and condiments as compared to higher income group families.
