A hybrid Chorasia excellent for gardens and avenues

The F1 hybrid shows overall dominance of the male parent (C. speciosa). The size of flower exceeds that of the parents. Both the parents have 43 bivalents at metaphase with reular meiosis and high fertility. Pollen of F1 hybrid is uniform in exine morphology without segregation, providing evidence for the sporophytic control of development of pollen exine.
