Ultrasonographic examination of the shoulder joint was performed in twenty dogs of various age groups, breed and sex. The study revealed that ultrasonography is a cheap, non-invasive, practical and valuable tool which can be used to image the soft tissues of the joint surfaces in order to diagnose the diseases.
