[Change dynamics of amino acid content in grass silage and energy value and its possible projection on the productivity of dairy cows]
2002
Beca, M. | Miculis, J. (Latvia Univ. of Agriculture, Sigulda (Latvia). Research Centre "Sigra")
Feeding animals with good quality silage high in energy value and protein content increases the productivity of animals. Chemical additives prevent the action of protein degradable microbes, ensure rapid pH decreasing and therefore limited proteolysis. The aim of the experiment was to evaluate the effect of wilting and the chemical additive Ensimax on the crude protein (CP) content and energy value dynamics during storage and preserving stability.
