[Changes of cholesterol level in cow's milk influenced by feeding]

Amount and composition of milk were influenced by genetical potential, quality of feeding and health of cow. The feeding is considered as one of the most significant of them. The tasks of work was to determine the level of cholesterol and fatty acid composition in the milk of the Latvia's cows and analyse the influence of cow's feed to fatty acid and cholesterol content in milk. Milk samples were obtained from Latvian Brown and Black and White cows from farms situated in Riga's and Jelgava's regions. The samples of milk and cow's feed were taken in October and April.
