Minority poverty in non municipal area of Shikarpur [Pakistan]

A samples of plus minus 10% was randomly selected which counted as 49 respondents. 21 participants (42.66%) belong to an age group of 41 and onwards as highest. 38 respondents (77.77%) were married, 89.80% are illiterate. 48.97% was working as labourers which show how they are running under poverty circumstances. 55.10% was having 4-6 children averagely. 48.97% was having an. Experience of work 11-20 years. This factor showed that being in work, still they are having miserable life to pass. 53.06% was having a house, constructed with straw root. 42.86% said they are living here since 31-40 years. This factor shows that respondents are living in this conditions, since quite a long time and have not improved socio-economically. The study revealed that poverty status regarding the employment parameters of the minority response, as the 1st ranked received a mean value of 3.43 on the topic. To get job in any industry you need to have technical skills. Regarding domestic work carried out by the family members as to supplement income. The study indicate that the 1st ranked topic gained a mean value of 3.30 and the caption was family member rare small ruminants to supplements income at home. Question regarding "How to raise income and improve socio-economic conditions so as to improve poverty status. The 1st ranked topic gained a mean value of 3.40 learning technical skills will help in improving socio- economic status. This shows how our minority people are thinking about their progress. The study revealed that minorities are still at poor stage of living. Their socio-economic conditions are not improved. They will take still longer time to overcome their daily routine problems. This is all because they are in minority, they do not have better education and job in modern industry and no better agricultural land to cultivate. Moreover people are suffering quite hard and have very little means of survival.
