The present study on the sub-lethal effects of different insecticides on the duration of larval and pupal period, copulation time, pupal weight, adult longevity and fecundity and fertility of eggs of tobacco cutworm, Spodoptera litura F. under laboratory indicate that the larval and pupal period of S. litura decreased. There was no effect of application of insecticides on adult longevity. The copulation time was also reduced in each application. There was no adverse effect on pupal weight of S. litura and the reduction of fecundity and fertility of eggs was recorded as compared with control after application of insecticide.
