There is inadequate information on the safety and disposition of drugs during pregnancy and breast feeding and on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in the neonale. In pharmacokinetics, properties of many drugs are altered in pregnancy. Article describes the adverse effect of many drugs on foetus or new born if given during pregnancy. It also includes drugs which may adversely effect the baby if given to breast feeding mother.
