The evaluation of effectiveness of an Ayurvedic diuretic drug Treenoponchomul (TPM) was carried out in the case of 36 human volunteers. It was revealed that TPM augmented a moderate increase in the urinary output in the test subjects. However, TPM's effect on the elimination of electrolytes was found to be inconclusive.
