Hop production and processing capability in Poland against that of EU countries

Currently, Poland has 1192 hop gardens totaling 2200 ha in area. The mean hop garden area is 1,85 ha. In this way Poland is the fifth largest hop producer in the world (and the third largest in the Europe) after Germany, USA, Czech Republic and China. In Poland there is hop processing to produce hop pellets and extracts. The potential of Polish hop production base is sufficient enough to meet requirements for hops from the domestic hop industry
