Two hundred and thirty three cattle and 19 buffaloes were examined by Intradermal test (skin test) using crude extract adult Fasciola antigen injected at the site of caudal fold. The skin test showed positive when the thickness of skin was increased=8.1 mm which was confirmed by Fasciola eggs finding in feces. The positive result by Intradermal test in cattle and buffalo was 6.3 percent (16/252). Sera of those animals were also tested by ELISA for Fasciola antibodies detection. The ELISA antibodies titer detected were 48.14 percent positive. The ELISA was found more sensitive than skin test. HOwever, fecal examination and skin test as well as ELISA and skin test were statistically significant different (P0.5).
