Daylength effect of the flowering of Curcuma sparganifolia

Studies on the effect of daylength on the flowering of Curcuma sparganifolia show that shortdays condition inhibit flowering while longdays treatment promote flowering. Plants receiving longdays are taller and have more sprouts than those under shortdays. However plants under both longdays and shortdays have similar leaf number.
